Hi, right, basically untill I came onto this site id never even heard or stocks. I know about brushes but the other kind of stocks ive never been in contact with. Would anybody be kind enough to give me some good links/websites for me to browse to look at stocks and try and encoorperate into my sigs. Thanks anybody that can help cheers

I get my stocks mainly from there. Just don't use arworks/copyrighted photos, it's just not good style.

Or google what you want.

How do you put stocks onto GIMP? DO you just save them as pics then open them?

Well, stocks are pics, so well, you open the them as any other pic. either saving and opening or just dragging them into the workplace (it works for PS at least).

Eh. I just smudge the render when I cant find a good stock. Should do good for you. Play with the smudge settings.
