PostSubject: Indi's Gallery (AKA-Shooting Gallery)   Fri Jul 31, 2009 3:28 pm

My first siggy. Made it in MS Paint. Took 3-4 hours. Laughing

1st siggy in Gimp

I'd like to think you can steadily see my skill level improving(they're all in order)

I'll keep adding, and hopefully they don't look so crappy by the time I become a registered sig maker ^^

Advice and/or critique is appreciated

You've got a problem with the pics. I think you mustt remove the last (/) from the url's. Try that.

I had tried to upload them all at once, and I reckon something screwed up with that, so I reuploaded them individually (on imageshack)

New siggy added. I meant to change it to a different color scheme, and a different name, but accidentally saved it as the wrong file type... (blush)

Pretty cool just tone down on smudging. Try blurring some of the background and position the text and lower the opacity a bit.

Shocked Woooo! Someone actually liked PART of my siggy! (party)

BTW-I rendered the screen it's on, and had to put the picture on et. Do those parts look ok? I've never messed with perspective, or rendering before Embarassed

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but there's no wow factor; nothing grabs our attention here.

You're going through what we've all been through and after you've gone through it you'll see it more often than not. Experiments. Very Happy

Lolz, I'm pretty much self taught, so every single siggy I've done has been an experiment Razz

Some of the brushes you used are still on the render. Erase those to bring out the focal or put the layer of the brushes underneath the layer of the render IF the brushes are on a different layer Neutral

Yeah I understand... if you want to do that, do what I've done in my second sig. Use different brushes in front of the render to show that the render is between the background and the brushes in front.

Try using different colours and never the same brushes Smile
