| I'm neutral.
You must think, while it will cause the rich and the ones with good health care to downgrade and use mediocre socialist health care it will help the millions who can't afford health care. So I really don't know what to say.

| Just because a universal health care program is in place, it dosen't mean you have to give up premium coverage. I live in Canada and get premium coverage through my work. | |

| I'm not in the US so don't know anything about this time. But here in Australia the public healthcare is like this. You pay 1.5% tax levy every year. The goverment then subsidises everything medical that is necessary/expensive and necessary. So going to a dctor instead of costing $30-$50 only costs $0-$5. The same for dentists. And then there are discounts on certain treatments and medicine. Getting incilane is subsidised as well as stuff like cancer treatment. There are loads of other things that are subsidised but I don't know them all/don't want to list them. But then for stuff like orthodontists and cosmetic surgery which are not necessary, they are not subsidised. You can get private healthcare as well which will cover stuff like that/make stuff even cheaper | |

| I think the idea is absolutely ludicris(sp?). We're in the midst of a recession, and he plans to spend 2-8 TRILLION to get cheaper healthcare?? I mean really, paying for your neighbor's headcold, simply cause they no longer have to pay, and can go for the slightest things without a qualm?? It's idiotic! Where will the money for the reform (not the actively maintaining it, just REFORMING it will cost 2-8tril. from what I understand) come from?? More taxes, while tax revenues are already incredibly low despite the taxes being incredibly high? Absolutely ridiculous! | |

| The issue with the states and this not working is sheer numbers. The Canadian system isn't perfect or pretty, but it does work for a nation with the population of 30 million people. But in the states, there's just too many people for this to work. 350 million people. I mean there's already 75-100 million of them on welfare or some other government program. | |

DUDE, you're an idiot. Saying I don't like him b/c he's black is just as sterotypical as would me not liking him b/c he's black. I have nothing against his race at all. I have several black friends. HOWEVER, just b/c he's black doesn't mean he makes a good president unlike apparently quite a few people seem to believe. "You can't hate him, or you're racist!" which you just demonstrated quite wonderfully. People are idiots to think race IS an issue. I presented a logical arguement against his policies, and YOU"RE the one who played the race card. He's black. So what? Get the **** over it!!/end rant

| Haha. I said that to see how you would react. You seem to just be a conservative not wainting to go socialist. That's okay, calm down man, I live in the deep south and so many people dislike him because he is black. | |

| And did you perhaps think there are REASONS behind my not wanting to socialize? My dad told me a story about some people.. I went over to their house on Thanksgiving. The mom cut off the ends on the ham.. When I asked why, she said cause her mom had.. I asked her mom why she did, and she said cause her mom had.. And when I asked the original mom's grandmother why she cut the ends off the ham, she said "It wouldn't fit in the pan we had." My dad one time asked his mother why she washed her spaghetti with cold water. She said cause her mom did. When he asked his grandmother why, it was b/c she didn't have a hot water heater. (my dad's an engineer) Trust me, I'm always asking WHY and I get it from my dad. I'm not the blind follower you seem to think I am. BTW-I live even deeper south. ;D I might be in Tenn. sometime today or within a week though to check out some puppies :O | |

| I think his plans shouldn't happen. Those of you who live in england should realise how bad our health care system is, and it's a goevrment run one.
I did soemthign to a muscle in ym knee, and i was injured for like 3 weeks, and 2 weeks after i was better i had my scan for it, 5 weeks FFS!
